Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister of Telangana, has issued key orders to implement strict rules in major temples across the state. He directed officials to follow a system similar to Tirumala, giving priority to spirituality and maintaining a peaceful atmosphere around temples.
According to the new rules, political activities such as meetings, rallies and displaying party flags will be completely banned near temple premises. The CM emphasized that even VIP vehicles should be parked outside, ensuring equal access for all devotees. Only electric vehicles will be allowed inside temple areas to reduce pollution and maintain cleanliness.
He also instructed officials to prepare proper plans, including setting up solar rooftops in parking areas. During development works, special care must be taken to protect the sanctity of temples. These steps aim to improve facilities while preserving the spiritual importance of temple surroundings.
