

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu attended the Pattadar Passbook distribution programme held at Kotha Buruzu in the Done constituency of Nandyal district. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted several welfare initiatives being implemented by the state government for the benefit of people. He stated that under the “Talli Ki Vandanam” scheme, ₹15,000 is being provided to families irrespective of the number of children.
The Chief Minister also said that women have already completed 50 crore free bus journeys through the Stree Shakti scheme. He emphasized that the government is committed to improving infrastructure and development across the state. According to him, roads in Nandyal district have been repaired, and the government has allocated ₹4,000 crore for Panchayat roads to eliminate potholes. He also announced plans to develop Kurnool as a Drone City and Anantapur as an Aerospace City, while assuring that electricity charges will not be increased. The government is also delivering several public services through WhatsApp governance and encouraging women entrepreneurship by promoting MSMEs.
