The central government has clarified the timelines for LPG gas booking. It stated that the information circulating on social media claiming that refill booking deadlines have been changed is completely false. The government emphasized that there have been no changes to the existing rules currently in force.
As per the present guidelines, consumers in urban areas can book an LPG refill after 25 days. Similarly, in rural areas, refill booking can be made after 45 days. Officials confirmed that these timelines remain unchanged and continue to be implemented as before.
In light of the spread of misinformation regarding gas supply and booking systems, the central government has advised the public not to believe such false reports. It urged citizens to rely only on official sources for accurate information and to remain cautious to avoid falling prey to rumors.
