Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that a high-speed bullet train project connecting Amaravati and Hyderabad is set to be taken up soon. Speaking at a Google event in Visakhapatnam, the minister said the proposed corridor aims to significantly reduce travel time and boost regional connectivity.
According to the proposal, the journey from Amaravati to Hyderabad is expected to take just 70 minutes, while travel to Chennai could be completed in about 112 minutes. The minister emphasized that the NDA government is committed to ensuring balanced development and welfare for southern states through such transformative infrastructure projects.
