

A shocking incident has taken place in the state, creating a sensation in Andhra Pradesh. A man allegedly invited a woman, who was known to him, to his residence and brutally murdered her. According to Visakhapatnam police, Chintada Ravindra (35), a native of Rajam in Vizianagaram district, is working as a technician in the Navy and is currently residing in Visakhapatnam.
As his wife had recently gone to her parental home, Ravindra reportedly invited his acquaintance, Mounika (29), to his flat on Sunday night. It is believed that a dispute arose between the two over financial matters. The argument escalated, and Ravindra allegedly attacked Mounika with a knife, leading to her death, as per preliminary findings by the police.
Following the murder, the accused is said to have dismembered the body, storing some parts in a refrigerator and keeping the remaining parts bundled inside the house. He later surrendered himself at the police station. The police have registered a case and are continuing the investigation. Further details are yet to emerge.
