A major controversy has erupted in Tirupati after allegations that the Chandrababu-led government has taken a shocking decision regarding valuable land. According to claims made by former Tirupati MLA and YSRCP leader Bhuman Karunakar Reddy, land worth around ₹1000 crore is being handed over to private companies at a much lower price.
He alleged that the land is being sold for just ₹97 crore to real estate firms. Not only this, the government is also reportedly offering additional benefits such as GST reimbursement for up to 15 years. Along with this, stamp duty and registration charges are also said to be reimbursed, raising serious concerns over the deal.
Bhuman Karunakar Reddy further accused Nara Lokesh of being the key person behind this entire issue. These allegations have triggered political debate, with opposition leaders demanding clarity and transparency from the government regarding the land allocation.
