Former US President Donald Trump made strong remarks regarding a potential conflict with Iran, stating that the United States has multiple options, including the possibility of taking control of a strategic island if required. In an interview, he expressed confidence that any military action could lead to swift control, while also noting that a ground operation would remain a last resort.
At the same time, Trump expressed hope for a possible agreement with Iran. He also reacted to reports about toll collection in the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the US could stop it quickly if necessary. Meanwhile, the US has strengthened its military presence in West Asia, with the deployment of USS Tripoli carrying around 3,500 marines, along with additional naval units moving into the region.
