A case has been registered at Banjara Hills Police Station following a complaint alleging blackmail and extortion involving the son of government adviser and former MP K. Keshava Rao. According to the complaint, the accused allegedly demanded ₹3 crore in connection with a house regularisation issue in Banjara Hills and threatened to file multiple cases if the amount was not paid.
The complainant, Keshava Rao’s son Venkat, stated that the accused had earlier filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) related to the property and allegedly proposed to withdraw the case in exchange for ₹3 crore. After the demand was refused, they allegedly continued to issue threats of filing additional cases. Based on the complaint, police have registered a case against Gadila Raghuveera Reddy and Anvesh Reddy, residents of Kondapak mandal in Siddipet district, and an investigation is underway.
