

Amit Shah released the manifesto of Bharatiya Janata Party for the West Bengal elections, titled “Sankalp Patra”. The party promised ₹3,000 per month for women and unemployment allowance of ₹3,000 for youth. It also announced the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code within six months of coming to power and the rollout of the Seventh Pay Commission.
Shah further stated that a 100-day roadmap for Bengal’s development would be prepared. The manifesto includes ₹21,000 assistance for pregnant women, a minimum support price of ₹3,100 for paddy, and the establishment of IIT and IIM in North Bengal. The party also promised 33% reservation for women in government jobs and pledged to curb illegal infiltration while targeting the ruling party over governance issues.
