Allu Arjun is teaming up with director Atlee for the highly anticipated film “Raaka”, which has already created massive buzz with its first look. Backed by Sun Pictures, the film is being mounted on a grand scale. Initially expected to be made on a budget of around ₹800 crore, recent reports suggest that the budget has now escalated to nearly ₹900–₹1000 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever. The makers are reportedly investing heavily in world-class visual effects and high-end production values without any compromise.
The remuneration of the cast has also become a hot topic. Allu Arjun is said to be charging around ₹175 crore for the film, setting a new benchmark. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is reportedly being paid about ₹25 crore, while Rashmika Mandanna is expected to receive between ₹5–₹7 crore for her role. With such massive investments and star power, “Raaka” is shaping up to be a landmark project in Indian cinema.
