During election campaigning in Kerala, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy made strong remarks in an interview with ANI. He referred to a letter written by Pinarayi Vijayan, which mentioned events between 2014 and 2023. Revanth Reddy said that during this period, Vijayan’s close associate K. Chandrashekar Rao was in power in Telangana and people later voted him out due to various issues. He added that Kerala people may take a similar decision.
Revanth Reddy also raised allegations against Vijayan, mentioning cases like Sabarimala gold theft and gold smuggling. He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is protecting Vijayan from these cases. He questioned why leaders like Arvind Kejriwal faced investigations and arrests, while no such action has been taken against Vijayan.
According to Revanth Reddy, there is an understanding between Narendra Modi and Pinarayi Vijayan, which is the reason for the absence of cases and arrests. He said that the people of Kerala understand this situation and are likely to bring political change in the state.
