Accused in Rape and Murder Case Sent to Custody

Police have arrested Rahul Meena, the accused in rape and murder cases reported in Rajasthan and Delhi. A court has remanded him to four days of police custody. He is accused of sexually assaulting two women and murdering one of them. During interrogation, officials said the accused changed his statements multiple times, but later admitted his guilt before the court.

According to the investigation, the accused first assaulted his friend’s wife in Rajasthan and then traveled to Delhi, where he committed another crime. He allegedly entered a house, assaulted a young woman, and killed her before fleeing with valuables. Police tracked him using CCTV footage and took him into custody. It is reported that he carried out the crime due to a personal grudge against his former employer.
