Actor Yash’s much-awaited pan-India film Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, has been postponed once again. The film, which was earlier scheduled to release on June 4, will not hit theatres on that date. Yash confirmed the development through a social media post, stating that the decision was taken keeping the global market in mind and to ensure a simultaneous worldwide release.
He revealed that the film’s shooting has already been completed and that the makers are currently in the process of finalizing overseas distribution deals. Yash described Toxic as a special project that deepened his passion for cinema and said the positive response at CinemaCon boosted the team’s confidence. Initially planned for a March 19 release, the film was first postponed due to geopolitical tensions in West Asia and is now delayed again to align with a global release strategy. A new release date will be announced soon.
