There is already considerable buzz surrounding the upcoming collaboration between Jr NTR and director Trivikram Srinivas. Reports suggest that the film may be based on the story of Lord Kartikeya, raising expectations among fans. However, bringing such a subject to the big screen will be a major responsibility for the director, with two key challenges to overcome. The first is presenting the heroism that NTR’s fans expect while staying true to the character’s mythological identity. Fans will look forward to powerful dialogues, action sequences and mass moments, but the director must ensure that these elements do not overshadow the essence of the story. If every scene is designed merely for mass elevation, the core narrative could lose its importance. Therefore, Trivikram will need to create a powerful yet well-balanced character for NTR.
The second challenge is presenting Lord Kartikeya’s background in a convincing and engaging manner. The grandeur of mythology, emotional depth and war sequences must be brought together effectively. Along with grand sets, costumes and visual effects, the film will need a strong screenplay. Trivikram is known for his dialogue-writing skills and family emotions, while his portrayal of NTR in Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava stands as an example of their successful collaboration. If he can create another compelling character in a mythological setting, it could offer NTR a distinctive role. Having gained experience with large-scale filmmaking through RRR, NTR is also set for another unique cinematic experiment. It remains to be seen how Trivikram combines his storytelling style with grand visuals to deliver this ambitious project.
