Popular actor Vadde Naveen, known for films like Korukunna Priyudu and Pelli, is making a comeback after a long gap of over a decade with Transfer Trimurtulu. The film, directed by Kamal Teja Narla, is set to release on the 19th of this month. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Naveen said he had been waiting for a story that would appeal to all audiences. He revealed that the film blends thrilling elements with a family-friendly narrative, making it a perfect choice for his return. Moving away from routine family dramas, he chose a fresh and engaging concept to reconnect with viewers.
Explaining the title, Naveen said “Trimurtulu” sounds relatable and close to common people. The story revolves around an honest police constable who gets transferred 55 times due to his integrity, and what happens during his 55th transfer forms the crux of the film. He also shared that extensive pre-production helped avoid major challenges during filming. Naveen admitted that he stayed away from films due to a lack of suitable scripts and now plans to continue acting in diverse roles, including multistarrers and OTT projects, if the story excites him.
