Residents affected by Cyclone Murasu can now report local problems through the Andhra Pradesh government’s Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance service, RTGS officials have announced. People can inform the authorities about issues in their areas by sending a “Hi” message to 95523 00009. After receiving the response, they should select the ‘Murasu Cyclone Issues’ option and provide details about their location and the problem they are facing. Residents can also upload photographs to support their complaints. The submitted information will be forwarded to the concerned officials, who will take necessary steps to address the reported issues.
RTGS officials have urged people to make use of the WhatsApp service to report cyclone-related difficulties and help authorities respond quickly. For emergencies, residents can also contact the dedicated helpline numbers 112, 1070 and 18004250101. People are advised to share accurate location details and clear information about the problem so that officials can identify affected areas and take timely action. The initiative is intended to make it easier for residents to communicate local issues and receive assistance during the cyclone.
