Veteran Telugu actor Vadde Naveen is making a comeback to the silver screen after a gap of more than ten years with the film Transfer Trimurthulu. Directed by Kamal Teja Narla, the film is set for release on June 19. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Naveen said he had been waiting for a story that could appeal to all sections of the audience. He explained that while the film contains thrilling elements, it is also a family-friendly entertainer. According to him, changing audience preferences and the dominance of family-oriented content on television prompted him to look for fresh and unconventional stories instead of repeating the same genre.
Explaining the film’s title and storyline, Naveen revealed that he plays a sincere police constable named Trimurthulu, who gets transferred 55 times due to his honesty. The story revolves around what happens after his 55th transfer and promises a blend of entertainment, suspense, and unexpected twists. The actor also stated that the project brought him back in front of the camera after years of waiting for the right script. He expressed interest in continuing his acting journey with meaningful stories and said he is open to multistarrers and OTT projects if the content is compelling.
