Veteran Bollywood actor Annu Kapoor has once again defended his controversial remark about actress Tamannaah Bhatia, saying the issue has been misunderstood. In a recent interview, he stated that people do not object to English expressions but create controversy when similar words are used in Hindi. He added that the phrase "Doodhiya Badan" should not be viewed negatively.

Kapoor also commented that although India gained political independence in 1947, society still carries a colonial mindset. However, he clarified that if Tamannaah felt hurt by his remarks, he is willing to apologise. His latest comments have once again sparked debate on social media.
