‘Meesaya Murukku 2’ Set to Entertain Audiences on OTT

Music director turned actor Hiphop Tamizha Adhi is back with Meesaya Murukku 2, the sequel to his blockbuster film Meesaya Murukku. Adhi has also directed the sequel, which has achieved commercial success, particularly in Tamil Nadu. According to the latest update, the film will begin streaming on Sony LIV from November 6. It will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi from the same day. The film’s six-week theatrical to OTT window is also noteworthy, as such a short gap is unusual for a Kollywood release.

The OTT release offers a chance for audiences who missed the film in theatres to watch it from home. Ketika Sharma, Chaithra J Achar, Ramya Ranganathan, Baba Baskar and Nassar play key roles in the film. Sundar C and Khushbu, who produced the original Meesaya Murukku, have also backed the sequel. With its release scheduled across five languages, the film is set to reach a wider audience through Sony LIV.
