YS Jagan Pushes YSRCP Leaders for Local Body Polls

YSRCP president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting with the party’s regional coordinators in Tadepalli on Wednesday in the backdrop of the upcoming local body elections. He directed the coordinators to quickly identify strong candidates, consult party leaders at different levels and prepare candidate lists after holding discussions. He also stressed the need to strengthen local leadership and take the party forward in a coordinated manner.

Jagan asked the party leaders to explain to people what he described as the failures and difficulties under the Chandrababu Naidu government and to highlight the YSRCP’s record while reaching out to every household. He also alleged that attempts could be made to use police power or other means during the elections and asked party leaders to remain prepared with alternatives. The meeting was attended by regional coordinators Botsa Satyanarayana, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Y.V. Subba Reddy, Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Peddireddy Mithun Reddy, Kurasala Kannababu, Gudivada Amarnath and Boodi Muthyala Naidu.
