Cyberabad is planning to introduce a new 'Work From Park' initiative, allowing employees and young professionals to work in green outdoor spaces instead of being confined to offices or homes. The concept is aimed at IT professionals, students, freelancers and startup teams who are looking for a more relaxed working environment. Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srijana announced the project during a media interaction at the corporation's headquarters in Madhapur. The corporation aims to develop around 30 to 40 parks within its jurisdiction as modern workspaces.
As part of the first phase, two parks have been selected: a 1.5-acre park in Madhav Hills Colony, Majeedbanda, under the Serilingampally zone, and a one-acre park in Madhapur under the Kukatpally zone. The facilities are nearing completion, and the corporation is targeting January 1 for their opening. The parks will feature workstations, comfortable seating, free high-speed Wi-Fi, charging points, meeting spaces, an amphitheatre, food and beverage kiosks, walking tracks, modern washrooms and EV charging stations. CCTV surveillance and security arrangements will also be provided. The facilities are expected to remain open from morning until midnight, with a nominal user fee. The initiative may be expanded to more parks based on public response and feedback.
