Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Talha Saeed, son of LeT founder Hafiz Saeed, has once again made inflammatory remarks targeting India. Speaking at an event in Sheikhupura, Pakistan, he reportedly claimed that Muslims ruled the Indian subcontinent for centuries and made provocative comments about Delhi. He also declared that he would continue what he described as “jihad” for as long as he remained alive, saying he would persist in the fight as long as he had the strength to do so.
Talha Saeed also praised Pakistan Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, describing him as a Quran memoriser and crediting him with bringing religious themes such as faith and jihad to the forefront. Talha Saeed is designated as a terrorist by the United States and India and is considered a key figure in Lashkar-e-Taiba. The US designated him in 2012, while India designated him under the UAPA in 2022. LeT is also listed as a terrorist organisation by the United Nations.
