A series of shooting incidents involving celebrities and public figures has drawn attention to the alleged activities of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The list provided in the report includes eight individuals: Tiger Shroff in Mumbai in October 2026, Guru Randhawa in Delhi in June 2026, Rohit Shetty in Mumbai in February 2026, Kapil Sharma in Canada in October 2025, AP Dhillon in Canada in September 2024, Salman Khan in Mumbai in April 2024, Gippy Grewal in Canada in November 2023, and Sidhu Moose Wala in Punjab in May 2022. The circumstances and alleged connections to the gang differ by case and should be treated as claims unless confirmed by official sources.
These incidents have prompted public discussion about how authorities can prevent organised crime and protect people who may be at risk. Lawrence Bishnoi has been held in Sabarmati Central Jail in Gujarat, according to reports. Questions about why he has not been killed in a police encounter must be understood in the context of the rule of law. Indian law does not permit police or government authorities to carry out extrajudicial executions as a substitute for prosecution. Suspects and accused persons must be dealt with through lawful investigation, evidence, judicial proceedings and any applicable prison-security measures. Allegations of criminal involvement must be established through due process, while law-enforcement agencies remain responsible for preventing threats and investigating offences.
