Vice-President Arrives in Hyderabad

Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived in Hyderabad to attend the Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations being organised at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds under the aegis of the Union Government. He attended the event as the Chief Guest. Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Union Minister of State Bandi Sanjay Kumar and other dignitaries were present.

Radhakrishnan later attended the Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations at the Parade Grounds, where he hoisted the National Flag and inspected the parade. Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Union Ministers, public representatives and senior officials participated in the programme. The event commemorated the historic integration of the erstwhile Hyderabad State with India.
