Tirumala Sees Unexpected Drop in Devotee Rush

Tirumala has witnessed a significant drop in the number of devotees after a long gap, with the reduced rush during the ongoing Brahmotsavams drawing attention. Devotees are being allowed to enter the queue lines directly without waiting in the compartments. According to TTD, devotees opting for Sarva Darshan after 8 AM may take around four hours for darshan, while those availing the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan may also have to wait for around four hours.

On Monday, 88,210 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara, while 30,192 devotees offered their hair as part of their vows. The offerings made by devotees generated ₹4.23 crore in hundi collections for the temple. The relatively lower crowd during the Brahmotsavams has become a point of interest among devotees and temple observers.
