Census 2027 Schedule Announced: Online Self-Enumeration from January 10

The Central Government has announced important details regarding the 2027 Census, with a focus on digital data collection. As part of the new initiative, people will be able to submit their household information through a self-enumeration facility. A dedicated online portal and mobile application are being made available to help citizens complete the process themselves.

The self-enumeration facility will be open from January 10 to January 24, 2027. March 1, 2027, has been designated as the reference date for the Census. A revisional round will also be conducted from March 1 to March 5 to review and update the collected information. The digital initiative is aimed at making the population enumeration process more accessible and convenient for the public.
