Tight Security at Parliament

Security has been significantly tightened around the Parliament complex in New Delhi following protests by Opposition parties and students. Police have deployed water cannon vehicles, paramilitary forces, and established a four layer security arrangement on roads leading to Parliament to prevent any untoward incidents.

Meanwhile, Opposition members staged protests in both Houses of Parliament, disrupting proceedings. Due to the continued uproar, both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were adjourned until 12:00 PM.
