Rising Gang Violence and Ganja-Linked Clashes Reported in Penamaluru Police Station Limits

Serious law and order concerns have emerged in the Penamaluru police station limits, including Yanamalakuduru, Kanuru, Poranki, and Sanath Nagar areas, where ganja-linked gangs are reportedly creating disturbances. Groups of youth are roaming late at night, engaging in frequent clashes and gang fights, causing fear among local residents.

Residents allege that individuals who were previously banned from Vijayawada city are now taking shelter in these areas, further increasing illegal activities including ganja sales. A recent incident in Kanuru involved a violent clash over a parking dispute, where a young man was assaulted. Locals also report repeated gang wars involving weapons like knives and beer bottles, resulting in serious injuries. Citizens are demanding stronger police patrolling and strict action against such anti-social elements.
