Polavaram MLA Inspects Tahsildar Office as Common Man

Polavaram MLA Chirri Balaraju made a surprise visit to the Buttayagudem Tahsildar office in Eluru district, posing as a common citizen to assess the functioning of the revenue office. The visit came after a retired teacher approached the MLA over a land dispute and complained that he had been visiting the Tahsildar office for several days without getting a resolution. Responding to his grievance, Balaraju personally visited the office without prior notice.

During his visit, the MLA inspected the revenue services being provided to the public and observed the functioning of the officials. He enquired whether officers were accessible to ordinary citizens and whether services were being delivered on time. Balaraju spent around an hour at the office, closely observing various activities and interacting with those present. He instructed officials to ensure that people do not face difficulties while availing themselves of revenue services.
