

Special Chief Secretary of Roads and Buildings Department, Vikas Raj, has directed officials to expedite the construction of the new Osmania General Hospital building. After reviewing the ongoing works, he stated that the project should be completed by December 2027.
He assured that all required approvals would be granted through a green channel to avoid delays and instructed the construction agency to maintain the current pace of work.
Officials from MEIL, Roads and Buildings Department, GHMC, Health, and Electricity departments participated in the review meeting. Key attendees included MEIL Project Division President K. Govardhan Reddy, Project Chief General Manager Venigalla Srinivas, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, Special Secretary P. Praveenya, CE G. Rajeshwar Reddy, Zonal Commissioner B. Santosh, TGSPDCL CMD Jithesh V. Patil, and Additional Director of Medical Education Dr. N. Vani.
