Minister Vivek Venkataswamy Meets AICC President Kharge

Telangana Labour and Mines Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy met AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge at the AICC headquarters, Indira Bhavan, in New Delhi on Monday. During the courtesy meeting, Vivek enquired about Kharge’s health after his recovery from viral fever. He later briefed the AICC chief on the latest political developments in Telangana and the proceedings of the recent Assembly session. The 22A land issue and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s response in the Assembly were among the matters discussed, according to reports.

Vivek also brought to Kharge’s attention the remarks made by BRS leaders against Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. The discussions also covered the implementation of welfare programmes in the state and concerns related to the impact of El Niño and rainfall conditions. Vivek said several political and administrative issues concerning Telangana were discussed during the meeting.
