KTR Makes Key Allegations Over RR Tax Collections

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of repeatedly making allegations against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the alleged collection of thousands of crores under the name of “RR Tax” but failing to take any action. KTR questioned why the BJP leaders had not initiated steps despite repeatedly raising the issue during their visits to Hyderabad.

In a post on X, KTR claimed that builders and developers in Hyderabad were aware of the alleged RR Tax collection. He alleged that Rs. 200 was being collected per square foot from builders in the name of RR Tax and said that everyone working in the real estate sector knew about it. Taking a dig at BJP leaders, KTR said their statements amounted to mere rhetoric and that they were not following them up with action.
