Vaikunta Dwara Darshan at the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple will be available for ten days, from December 20 to 29. In view of the arrangements, TTD Additional Executive Officer Venkaiah Chowdary and CVSO Murali Krishna held a review meeting with officials from various departments at the Padmavathi Guest House in Tirumala on Thursday. During the meeting, Venkaiah Chowdary directed officials to allocate SSD tokens through an online electronic dip for the first three days to facilitate darshan for a larger number of ordinary devotees. He also instructed them to provide Sarva Darshan for the remaining seven days. Additionally, he asked officials to make arrangements for Sarva Darshan devotees to have darshan even during the Abhishekam period on Friday, December 25.
Venkaiah Chowdary also stated that the Water and Food Analysis Laboratory in Tirumala is being developed as a model facility for the country. He said the laboratory was established with state-of-the-art facilities in just 11 months, with the support of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). He noted that it has been built to high standards that are not available at other religious institutions in the country. He further explained that ghee samples are tested every day, and only after the tests are completed is the ghee approved for use at Tirumala.
