Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar participated in the Giri Pradakshina at the Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Kondagattu, Jagtial district, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. MLC Adluri Laxman Kumar, Government Whip Adi Srinivas, MLA Medipalli Satyam, and several public representatives also took part in the spiritual event. After completing the Giri Pradakshina, the leaders offered special prayers and sought the blessings of Lord Hanuman for abundant rainfall, prosperous agriculture, and the well-being of the people of Telangana. Temple priests later blessed the dignitaries and offered sacred teertha prasadam.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said participating in the sacred ritual on Guru Purnima was a deeply spiritual experience. He noted that temples such as Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy, Vemulawada Rajanna, Mahankali, and Lal Darwaza serve as centres of faith that provide hope and strength to devotees during difficult times. He prayed for plentiful rains, full reservoirs, prosperous farmers, better education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and the overall welfare and development of Telangana, adding that his only wish is the well-being and happiness of the people.
