Minister Kandula Durgesh Congratulates Dr. M. Srujana Devi

Visakhapatnam-based anesthesiologist and social worker Dr. M. Srujana Devi has brought laurels to the city by winning the prestigious ‘Forever Miss Universe India 2025’ title. She emerged victorious at the national-level grand finale organized by Forever Star India (FSIA) in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where thousands of contestants from across the country participated.

During her visit to Visakhapatnam, Dr. Srujana Devi paid a courtesy call on Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh at the Radisson Blu Hotel and sought his blessings. The minister felicitated her with a shawl and presented her with a bouquet, congratulating her on the achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Kandula Durgesh said it was highly commendable that Dr. Srujana Devi, who has already made a mark as a doctor and social worker, had achieved national recognition in the modelling and fashion fields as well. He said the success of women excelling in diverse fields was a matter of pride for both the state and the country. He wished Dr. Srujana Devi greater success and more international accolades in the future.
