Andhra Pradesh Extends Chief Secretary Sai Prasad’s Tenure

The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders extending the tenure of Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad by another six months. He was scheduled to retire at the end of November. However, the extension is understood to have been granted following the Chief Minister’s decision to continue utilising his administrative experience and services for a longer period.

With this extension, Sai Prasad will continue to serve as the state’s Chief Secretary for an additional six months. The decision is significant as it allows the state government to retain his services in the key administrative position. The extension order has reportedly been issued by the government.
