Bhavani Is One of the Most Special Roles of My Career: Keerthy Suresh

Actress Keerthy Suresh is all set to appear in the upcoming crime drama and female gangster series ‘Akka’, in a character unlike any she has portrayed before. Directed by Dharmaraj Shetty and produced by YRF Entertainment, the series features Keerthy as Bhavani and Radhika Apte as Rudra. Tanvi Azmi, Vishak Nair and Mahesh Manjrekar also play key roles. As part of the promotional campaign, the cast has been participating in a series of interviews, during which Keerthy shared interesting details about her character and her experience working on the project.

Speaking about the series, Keerthy described Bhavani as one of the most distinctive and memorable characters of her career. She also expressed her happiness at working with Radhika Apte, noting that the relationship between their characters adds suspense and depth to the story. Keerthy said ‘Akka’ marks her first web series collaboration with Netflix and YRF Entertainment, and that the unique storyline was one of the main reasons she signed on. She hopes audiences will become immersed in the world of the series and enjoy discovering the different dimensions of Bhavani as the story unfolds. ‘Akka’ is scheduled to begin streaming on Netflix on October 30.
