Jason Sanjay Calls Vijay Becoming CM 'A Revolution

Director Jason Sanjay, who is making his directorial debut with 'Sigma' starring Sundeep Kishan, shared insights into his family's journey during a promotional interview. Speaking about his father Vijay's political career, Jason said that his father's becoming Chief Minister was "a historic revolution" and added that it had brought greater responsibility upon the entire family. He said they now have the duty of upholding Vijay's legacy. Jason also revealed that when he decided to enter the film industry, Vijay advised him to create his own identity instead of relying on his father's name, while assuring him that support would always be available whenever needed.

In the same interview, Jason spoke fondly about his mother Sangeetha, describing her as "like a spy" because she always seems to know what he is doing. Recalling a humorous incident, he said he once left home secretly at midnight without informing anyone and switched off his phone. By the time he returned the next morning, his family had become worried and was preparing to file a missing person complaint. Jason shared the incident with a smile, saying it remains one of the memorable moments in his family.
