Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics Nara Lokesh said that “Invisible Government, Effective Governance” is the guiding principle of the state government. Speaking at the Express Adda programme organized by The Indian Express in New Delhi, Lokesh emphasized that the previous administration had weakened several institutions in the state, and his government is committed to ensuring accountability while staying away from vindictive politics.
Highlighting the state's focus on technology-driven governance, Lokesh said Andhra Pradesh has created a comprehensive data lake by integrating information from various government departments. This enables faster and more informed decision-making, improving the speed of doing business. He added that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expanded this vision to focus on the “Ease of Living” concept. Through a single WhatsApp number, citizens can now access nearly 1,000 government services, certificates, and public services directly from their mobile phones, reducing the need for visits to government offices.
