

On the occasion of International Workers' Day, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended his heartfelt greetings to the working class. He stated that the people’s government is moving forward with the spirit of workers and assured that labourers would receive due respect under his administration. He emphasized that workers are key partners in the state’s development and said the new industrial policy would support their growth and welfare.
The Chief Minister highlighted several welfare initiatives, including ₹5 lakh accident insurance for gig workers and the introduction of the Telangana Gig and Platform Workers Welfare Bill. He noted that employment opportunities have increased through various programs, pending compassionate appointments have been cleared, and Singareni workers received bonuses ahead of festivals. He also mentioned ₹1 crore insurance support for workers and ₹5 lakh financial aid for families of Telangana workers who pass away in Gulf countries.
