

Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand has clarified that the viral message claiming WhatsApp calls and social media communications are being monitored and recorded by the government is completely false. He stated that misleading messages are being circulated on social media to create unnecessary panic among the public. Citizens have been advised not to believe or forward such unverified claims.
According to the police, similar rumours have surfaced multiple times in the past. The viral post falsely claims that all phone calls, WhatsApp conversations, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and other social media activities will be monitored under new regulations. Authorities have urged people to verify information before sharing it and warned that strict action will be taken against those spreading fake news and misinformation online.
