Heavy Rush at Khairatabad Bada Ganesh

A large number of devotees are turning up at Hyderabad’s Khairatabad Bada Ganesh for darshan, with the weekend drawing an even bigger crowd. Queue lines along the routes leading to the idol are packed with devotees. Hyderabad City Police have made special security and crowd-management arrangements, including separate entry and exit queues and additional monitoring to regulate the flow of visitors.

Traffic police have also arranged designated parking facilities at locations including IMAX Ground, HMDA parking near IMAX, the E-Racing Ground near NTR Park, Maktha Parking on Necklace Road and Visweswarayya Bhavan. Devotees have been advised to prefer Metro, MMTS and RTC special buses over private vehicles and to consider visiting on weekdays or during less crowded hours. Darshan at Khairatabad Bada Ganesh will conclude on September 23.
