Heavy Rains to Continue in Telugu States.. Rain Alert for Several Districts

Heavy rains continue across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with several areas witnessing intense showers yesterday. Weather experts have forecast more rain for both states today. In Telangana, daytime conditions are expected to remain hot and humid. Weather expert Balaji said heavy showers accompanied by thunder and lightning are likely during the evening and night in parts of Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Suryapet, Khammam, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, Mahabubabad, Bhadradri-Kothagudem and Warangal Rural districts, particularly after noon.

Scattered thunderstorms and showers are also likely in Siddipet, Medak, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Jagtial districts during the afternoon and night. Hyderabad may receive thundershowers at isolated places from afternoon through night. In Andhra Pradesh, the weather department has forecast rain in several districts, with thunderstorms and lightning possible in parts of the coastal region and Rayalaseema. Nandyal, Anantapur and Chittoor districts are among those expected to receive rain.
