Heavy Rains Disrupt Hyderabad Traffic, Police Issue Alert

Heavy rains lashed Hyderabad, leading to waterlogging and traffic congestion in several important locations across the city. Traffic police officials, including Joint CP Joel Davis, conducted field inspections at Lakdikapool, Ayodhya Junction and Masab Tank to review the situation and implement measures for smoother traffic movement. Authorities have alerted commuters to remain cautious and avoid stepping out unless necessary.

Traffic police teams are working to clear congestion and regulate movement in affected areas. Major traffic delays were reported near IKEA Junction, where vehicles have been moving slowly for nearly an hour, while Madhapur, Gachibowli and Miyapur also witnessed traffic issues. Officials advised motorists to drive slowly, keep additional travel time, and rely on official traffic updates before planning their journeys.
