Government Greenlights Advocates Protection in Telangana

The Telangana government has officially implemented the Telangana Advocates Protection Act 2026, aimed at ensuring the safety and security of advocates across the state. The government issued G.O. Ms. No. 41, giving legal effect to the new legislation.

The state has also directed the publication of the notification in the Telangana Gazette, marking the formal enforcement of the law. The Act is expected to provide greater protection to advocates while discharging their professional duties and strengthen legal safeguards for the legal community.
