Heavy rainfall in the upstream regions has caused a massive rise in the water levels of the Godavari and Pranahita rivers near Kaleshwaram. At the Triveni Sangamam, the river is flowing at a height of 11 metres, raising concerns among officials monitoring the flood situation.
Authorities stated that the first flood warning will be issued if the water level reaches 12.210 metres. Meanwhile, Medigadda Barrage is witnessing heavy inflows, with both inflow and outflow recorded at around 5.66 lakh cusecs, as officials continue to closely monitor the situation.
