Flood Inflow to Prakasam Barrage Declines

Flood inflows to the Prakasam Barrage in Vijayawada have reduced significantly, bringing relief to irrigation and water management authorities. According to the latest official data, the barrage is currently receiving an inflow of 2,608 cusecs. The water level at the barrage has been maintained at 12 feet, ensuring a steady supply for irrigation and drinking water requirements.

Officials stated that the entire inflow of 2,608 cusecs is being released into the Krishna Eastern (K.E.) Main Canal for irrigation purposes. With inflow levels remaining under control, authorities continue to monitor the situation closely while ensuring effective water distribution across the command areas.
