Fake Documents Scam Exposed...EOW Case Filed Against Couple

Cyberabad Economic Offences Wing police have registered a case against a couple for allegedly obtaining a Rs. 3 crore loan from a cooperative society using fake property documents. The case, initially registered at Jagadgirigutta police station, has been transferred to the EOW for further investigation.

During the probe, officials found that the original owner of the mortgaged property had died several years ago. Despite this, forged documents were allegedly created to secure the loan. The accused failed to repay the amount, leading to dues exceeding Rs. 5 crore, according to officials.
