The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has launched fresh searches across Telangana and Karnataka as part of its ongoing investigation into a high-value narcotics case under the NDPS Act. According to preliminary information, ED officials are conducting raids at seven locations in Hyderabad and two locations in Bengaluru, with multiple teams deployed simultaneously to gather evidence related to the case.
The raids are reportedly linked to a major drug trafficking case involving the alleged sale of narcotics worth several crores of rupees. Hyderabad Police had earlier arrested the accused in connection with the case, and the ED has now initiated a parallel probe into the financial aspects, including suspected money laundering. Officials are expected to examine financial transactions, assets, and other documentary evidence as part of the investigation.
