

Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla stated that the medical profession is not just a means of livelihood but a sacred commitment to serve humanity. Addressing the 175th convocation ceremony of Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad as the chief guest, he urged young doctors to adopt values of compassion and empathy along with scientific knowledge and technical skills. He emphasized that doctors should serve the nation in the spirit of “Seva Parama Dharma.”
The Governor praised Osmania Medical College for its long-standing legacy of producing skilled and dedicated doctors. He highlighted the importance of modern technology and research in the rapidly evolving healthcare sector while reminding that humanity must never be lost. He also appreciated the role of faculty and parents in shaping successful medical professionals and encouraged graduates to serve ethically from rural healthcare to advanced research fields.
